International Views and myself ( Bullion Bois) are collaborating on a manual film project that we are turning into a photography book. The idea is "Food and Fashion" two things that we both love. So we figure in order to tell this story of ours we need 8 models that would be willing to accompany us to some restaurants and make our book look amazing. Each model will receive credit for their participation, an interview, and become published. If you could leave your name, email address, and Instagram name for us we would greatly appreciate it.
So if you were paying attention to the video then you know the deal here. Its a contest for short filmmakers that will give the 5 chosen contestants a chance to win at the first Bedford International Film Festival. Thats right INTERNATIONAL, people from all over the world have been entering the contest. All you have to do is enter your script, storyboard, or video interview. So this being of great interest to myself I have written a script for a film title Tracy. Now I am looking for actors to fill these roles. We have until December 31st to prepare to create our short film upon being announced as a finalist. Within that time we have just 96 hours to shoot, edit, and submit the film. I feel I have a creative, original, and powerful script idea. I have already completed the script so I am looking for actors, creatives, music producers to work with collectively to bring this vision to life. If you would like to be apart of my short film please fill out the form below. Once you fill that out I will email you a copy of the short film script. Please add your social media ( Instagram) name.
(Tracy is a thriller about a young woman who uses her clever gifts to bring her from one of the lowest times in her life to living a life she could have never imagined.)
Join me and help bring a great story alive.
Photography has been teaching me more and more about myself everyday. It's showing me colors I like, places I want to go, and things that I find interesting. Having to be able to fully take a look at my environment and try to see more than what is just in front of me. Stepping out of comfort zones, pushing myself. Give myself time to survey ny surroundings and see them just as they may or could be. Just spending time with my camera, myself, and subject. These have been proven to be therapeutic actions for me. In this time nothing matters. A feeling like this doesn't come often. This would definitely be how I learn my true hue.
I am often asked to do photoshoots and that to me is amazing! Being that there are tons of photographers that I love and think are awesome at what they do, so it always excites me to get a new client. I definitely never used to mind the graduate photos, the couple photos, and even model photos. I still don't mind. However I'm at a point in my photography career where I would like to take more risk, be more creative, capture images of true substance and thought.
It it has never been my goal to just to take pictures. I want to capture images that make people think, that can be hung up in galleries, that can be identified or not identified by the initial viewer. I feel like these types of images have always spoken to me. I think that's important, doing what you feel, acknowledging what speaks to you and accomplishing that vision. This is a challenge I am placing on myself, to fully focus and take more risk. Not only push myself but the people I am workin with as well.
I have the fortunate and unique opportunity to work with aspiring and amateur models. Each one of them being varied in experience, goals, and comfortability. I truly value these people and want the best for them and their career. So I believe by pushing them along with me to our greatest heights this will ensure a great image and something we can both be proud of. For us to accomplish anything worth doing we must take risk.
However when I say risk I mean a calculated one. Nothing distasteful or weird. By risk I mean going all out on a pose, getting fully in character, taking our time to fully design and produced our idea. Every one has a camera and everyone can basically do photography. So as artist and creatives it's imperative that we go above and beyond. Trying to produce images that make the average viewer scratch their head and wonder how you accomplished that. It starts with taking risk.
This is is just my thoughts, my goal, and what I am working to achieve. If you believe in yourself anything is possible and can come out great. So to anyone that reads this and wants to work with me, let's push each other, let's work really hard, and most importantly let's take some risk.
